Become cooperator

Want to Join the Capitane Coop Adventure and Help Build the Label of Tomorrow?

If you love music and want to contribute to building a new model in the music industry while having fun and learning, Part C is for you.

  • 125 euros per share. Minimum one share. Maximum number of shares per person: Unlimited.

  • As a cooperator, you gain access to various benefits: discounts on records, events, studio days, access to soundchecks and recording sessions, vehicle and musical equipment rentals, access to exclusive concert tickets or items (records, T-shirts, etc. reserved for cooperators), and more.

  • The cooperator participates in the general assembly.

  • Music Makers (Part B)

Part B shares are primarily intended for musicians who wish to join the Capitane collective and are not part of the public fundraising campaign.

Entry into the group of Music Maker cooperators at Capitane is subject to acceptance by the cooperative's artistic committee, composed of both Music Makers and Music Lovers.

Joining the circle of Music Makers does not automatically mean joining Capitane Records or the Rocket House. It is a necessary but not sufficient condition, as the cooperative can support a musician in ways other than through its label or booking agency.

  • 500 euros per share. Minimum one share. Maximum number of shares per person: Unlimited.

  • Access to career support from the Capitane team and cooperative services: studio, van, equipment, publishing, label, booking, etc.

  • The cooperator participates in the general assembly and takes part in major company decisions.
For those who wish to join the cooperative as Music Makers, you can send us an email at info@capitane.coop, and we will discuss it together with a view to forwarding your application to the cooperative's artistic committee.

Social Economy
We operate within the framework of the social economy, and the motivation for investment should not be purely profit-driven. Instead, it should stem from a desire to engage in a meaningful, forward-looking project. That said, according to our projections, the shares may eventually yield a return on investment, either in the form of dividends (capped at 6% of the share amount in the social economy) or in the form of capital gains (capped at 100% of the share value).

It should also be noted that during the first four years following its launch, the cooperative will benefit from the "Tax-Shelter Start-Up" program, offering a 45% tax reduction on the amount invested in the cooperative if you reside in Belgium.

Initial Fundraising Goals

The funds raised during the cooperative's launch will be used to:
  • Build a team: We initially plan to hire 4.5 full-time equivalents to carry out our missions, including a booking and events specialist, coordinators, a communications officer, content creator, label manager, and administrative and legal officer. We also plan to allocate a budget to hire freelance experts for specific tasks, such as promotion, marketing, consulting, etc.

  • Make strategic investments: This includes purchasing audiovisual (cameras, microphones, etc.), IT and musical equipment, a van, and setting up the Capitane.Club platform.

  • Invest in artistic projects: These include label projects, concert events, and launching the design and production of Capitane Organic products.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

You can commit and purchase one or more shares now using the online form above.

You can also acquire shares through your Smart activity, your non-profit organization, or your company if you have one. If you wish to become a cooperator but do not have sufficient savings immediately, don’t hesitate to contact us—we’ll find a solution, as your desire to join the project is what matters most.

Note: The share subscription form serves as the cooperator's identification sheet. If you are purchasing shares for multiple people, you need to fill out multiple forms.

If you are already a cooperator and wish to renew your commitment to Capitane Coop to support our new projects, you can transfer the amount you wish to invest—in increments of 125€—to our account at ING BE14 3632 4554 0483, noting your name and the number of shares corresponding to your investment in the communication field.

You will receive confirmation from us on the day following your registration. However, if you use Hotmail or Outlook, our confirmation messages sometimes end up in the "spam" or "mailing" folder. Don't forget to check!
