Through a self-managed model, it supports independent artists throughout their careers and helps create the conditions needed to produce and circulate their work.
But Capitane Coop is not only a professional tool.
It is a concrete attempt to do things differently.
At a time when the cultural industries are increasingly concentrated in the hands of a few multinational corporations, when music mostly circulates through streaming platforms, and when the line between human creation and automated production is becoming increasingly blurred, we want to defend another path.
Capitane Coop offers an alternative: to build more direct ways for culture to be made, shared and supported — inspired by the principles of local and organic agriculture.
